HotBrick Network Solutions recently introduced the VPN 800/2G, a dual WAN router with IPsec endpoint capability.

The router supports 9 load balancing methods and automatic failover on its dual 10/100/1000 Ethernet WAN ports. A built-in 8 port 10/100 plus two 10/100/1000 switch provides LAN client connection.

100 simultaneous IPSec VPN tunnels with DES, 3DES and AES encryption support remote client or gateway-to-gateway connection. HotBrick's standard VPN client has no node license limitation.

Other features include a SPI+NAT firewall, one-to-one NAT and port-based QoS for bandwidth management.

The VPN 800/2G is available immediately at an MSRP of $899.

SMC Networks yesterday announced a Draft 802.11n router and USB adapter with suggested list prices of $60 and $40. Both products are Wi-Fi Certified to 802.11n Draft 2.0.

The Barricade N Draft 11n Broadband Router (SMCWBR14S-N2) combines a 4-port 10/100 LAN switch, SPI+NAT firewall and draft 802.11n access point. The router supports WEP, WPA and WPA2 wireles security as well as Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS).

The SMCWUSBS-N is a matching USB 2.0 wireless adapter in thumb-drive format.

D-Link said today it has started shipping its DGL-4500 Draft 802.11n Xtreme N Gaming Router.

The router combines a single dual-band Draft 2.0 802.11n radio based on Atheros XSPAN technology with D-Link's "GameFuel" technology—D-Link's branding of Ubicom's "StreamEngine" auto-QoS technology.





Linksys' long-awaited dual-band draft 11n router features two radios, a gigabit switch and NAS support when you attach an external USB drive.
