LaCie's revamp of its entry-level NAS has new features and improved performance. [Read the review]

Write performance comparison w/ 100 Mbps LAN connection. The EDmini comes in at the top of the chart, with performance very close to the Synology DS-106e. The original EDmini ranks at the bottom of this comparison. Other compared products include the WD NetCenter and Buffalo Technology Gigabit Linkstation.
