Buffalo Technology earlier this week announced its new Web Access feature for its LinkStation Live NAS products, including a music streaming feature. Web Access provides secure browser-based access to any content stored on a user's LinkStation Live NAS by logging into www.buffaloNAS.com. The new feature is available for existing LinkStation Live customers via a free firmware upgrade and port forwarding is not required for UPnP-enabled routers. Web Access also includes MP3 support, which allows users to remotely stream music stored on their LinkStation Live. Content can be made available to all users or password protected. Web Access is currently only available for LinkStation Live customers and will "soon" be available for other Buffalo NAS products.
