MetaGeek today announced the next generation of its Wi-Spy 2.4GHz Wi-Fi spectrum analyzer. Wi-Spy 2.4x has three times the frequency resolution, three times the amplitude resolution, and twice the amplitude range of the original Wi-Spy.
Both the new 2.4x and original Wi-Spy use MetaGeek's Chanalyzer 2.1 software that features spectral, topographic and planar views with full recording and playback capability. Wi-Spy 2.4x is available now directly from MetaGeek for $399. The original Wi-Spy will continue to be available for $199. Chanalyzer 2.1 is available as a free download.
