D-Link and Iogear have both announced certification for their first Wireless USB products.

D-Link's DUB-2240 4-port Wireless USB Hub and DUB-1210 Wireless USB adapter, and Iogear's Wireless USB Hub & Adapter Kit have both received Certification against the Wireless USB 1.0 Specification by the USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF).

Iogear's product is based on Alereon's PHY Chipset and Intel's Wireless UWB Link controller, both of which completed compliance and certification testing from the USB-IF and are designated Certified Wireless USB building block solutions.

D-Link will also offer a kit (DUB-9240) that includes both the wireless USB adapter and 4-port wireless USB hub.

The DUB-9240 Wireless USB Kit, DUB-2240 4-port Wireless USB hub, and DUB-1210 Wireless USB adapter are expected to ship in Q4. MSRP's are $219.99 for the DUB-9240 and $119.99 each for the DUB-2240 Wireless hub and DUB-1210 wireless adapter.

Iogear did not announce pricing or availability.
