Any of these eight-port gigabit switches, which all support up to 9k jumbo frames, will provide a speed boost for your LAN.
  D-Link's DGS-2208 uses the Vitesse VSC7388. But it's the only switch in the round-up that doesn't use a heatsink—probably not a good idea for long-term reliability.
