Any of these eight-port gigabit switches, which all support up to 9k jumbo frames, will provide a speed boost for your LAN.
  The Netgear GS-108 was one of the first small gigabit switches to support jumbo frames. It uses the Broadcom BCM5398. It's also the only switch in the group to have front-mounted ports with integrated LEDs.
