 ImageLike the Apple Airport Extreme, the WRT600N has a integral heatsink plate.
But where the Apple's plate is removable, the WRT600N's is bonded to the top of the board. The CPU and radio MAC have finned heatsinks that bridge the gap from component to heatsink plate. The switch chip is also shielded.
