SMC Networks yesterday announced a Draft 802.11n router and USB adapter with suggested list prices of $60 and $40. Both products are Wi-Fi Certified to 802.11n Draft 2.0. The Barricade N Draft 11n Broadband Router (SMCWBR14S-N2) combines a 4-port 10/100 LAN switch, SPI+NAT firewall and draft 802.11n access point. The router supports WEP, WPA and WPA2 wireles security as well as Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS). The SMCWUSBS-N is a matching USB 2.0 wireless adapter in thumb-drive format. Both products are available now. |
