QNAP today announced a 4-bay, hot-swappable NAS aimed at business users.

QNAP TS-409 Pro TurboThe TS-409 Pro Turbo is a Linux-based BYOD SATA NAS supporting RAID 0/ 1/ 5/ 6/ 5+spare disk redundancy, online RAID capacity expansion and level migration.

The product handles encrypted FTP, SSL encrypted web-based access, SSH login, and encrypted remote replication.

Other features include Windows AD authentication, USB print serving, UPS support and built-in PHP MySQL and SQLite web server.

The TS-409 comes bundled with NetBak Replicator for Windows client backup. Pricing and availability were not announced.
