| New HP dual-drive NASes now shipping |

![]() HP today announced that its new dual-drive Media Vault NASes are shipping. The 500 GB Linux-powered Media Vault mv2120 NAS was announced at January's Consumer Electronics show. It is built on a shortened version of the four-drive Windows Home Server-based MediaSmart server chassis, but powered by a Marvell NAS processor with 128 MB of RAM. MSRP is $299. Also shipping are the "small business" Media Vault "Pro" versions, the 1 TB mv5140 and 1.5 TB mv5150 at MSRPs of $599 and $799 respectively. Comments (8)
