Backupify Adds LinkedIn As Cloud Backup Option

Backupify can now back up your entire LinkedIn profile against accidents and deletions.

Backupify’s addition of LinkedIn continues to expand the stable of cloud services Backupify can archive. It joins Facebook, Flickr, Google Docs, and several other services that Backupify can archive. LinkedIn provides networking opportunities for businesses, and for many businesses LinkedIn provides a source of customers and possible employee candidates.

Backing up this data provides a safeguard against the increasingly common issues associated with social media and cloud services in general. LinkedIn claims they add a new user every second, and has become the largest online professional network in the world, so losing access to your LinkedIn profile could pose a serious problem for many businesses.

We recently reviewed Backupify and found the service to only partially work. We are still waiting to hear from Backupify about the issues we encountered, and will update the review when that happens.

Full information on the LinkedIn addition can be found on Backupify’s website.
