NETGEAR Adds Gigabit PoE Smart Switch

NETGEAR GS110TP ProSafe 8-port Gigabit PoE Smart Switch with 2 Gigabit Fiber SFP NETGEAR has introduced an 8 port Gigabit switch with PoE aimed at small business applications.

The NETGEAR ProSafe GS110TP 8-port Gigabit PoE Smart Switch targets small LANs with a handful of devices requiring 802.3af Power over Ethernet support.

The web-managed smart switch features a fanless design and includes eight PoE-capable 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports plus sockets for two SFP modules. All ports are PoE-capable and can be prioritized and scheduled to manage the 46W of total available PoE power.

Other features include VLANs, 802.1p and DIFSERV QoS, "green" ports and special support for VoIP applications.

The GS110TP is backed by a lifetime warranty and is shipping now at street pricing as low as $260.
