L-com logoL-com has announced a PoE splitter/tap with adjustable DC output.

The BT-CAT5-R0512 splitter/tap delivers both data and DC power to non-PoE equipped Ethernet devices using a single CAT5/5e/6 cable. The unit supports both Fast and Gigabit Ethernet speeds and is "compliant" with 802.3af PoE.

DC output can be set to 5V, 7.5V, 9V, or 12V to power non-PoE devices such as wireless access points and IP cameras. The splitter works with both 802.3af compliant network switches (PoE Mode A) and Midspan/Injectors (PoE Mode B).
