Axis announces rugged bus, train network camera

Features include Power over Ethernet (PoE), progressive scan technology and up to 30 FPS in Motion JPEG or MPEG-4 video compression standards. The camera is enclosed in a tamper-resistant casing, can operate in temperatures between 32º F and 122º F, and handles humidity levels from 20-100 percent.

The AXIS 209FD-R will be available in January 2007 for $599 MSRP.
