Inside view looking into the front of the drive bays with both drives removed. You need to remove four screws and a perforated panel to remove the lower drive.
You can partially see the single 3.5" fan mounted behind the SATA drive backplane. The power supply is an external brick. Drive and fan noise was definitely noticeable in a quiet room.
