The glossy black plastic case has no visible fasteners. The footprint is slightly larger and about 2X as high as the Samsung Spinpoint HD502IJ 500 GB 3.5" SATA hard drive it encloses. A 1 TB version is also available.The unique blue activity indicator light is aimed downward to reflect off a desktop.
