TRENDnet Debuts 2 MP Indoor Dome Cam

TRENDNet logoTRENDnet has introduced a fixed-position HD dome network camera.

The TV-IP262PI Two Megapixel PoE Day / Night Dome Internet Camera can produce 1280 x 1024 pixel H.264 video @ 15 fps in complete darkness for distances of up to 12 meters (40 feet).

The camera uses a 1/4" CMOS sensor and supports multiple H.264, MPEG-4 and MJPEG streams at SXGA, 720p, VGA, QVGA and QQVGA resolutions. The HD resolutions stream at 15 fps and lower resolutions at 30 fps.

The camera is powered by a 12 VDC adapter or via 802.1af Power over Ethernet on its 10/100 Ethernet port.

Other features include audio in/out prts, SD card slot for local recording, IPv6 support and Video mirroring (horizontal / vertical) for upside-down installations. The camera is managed via a built-in web interface or TRENDnet’s SecurView Pro IP camera management software.

The TV-IP262PI will be available soon at an MSRP of $439.99.
