EnGenius Launches AC APs, Surveillance Bundles

EnGenius logoEnGenius announced two 802.11ac access points and two outdoor surveillance bundles.

The ENS1750 High-Powered, Long-Range Dual Band Wireless AC1750 Outdoor Access Point/Client Bridge provides link rates up to 1300 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 450 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band, and ENS1200 High-Powered, Long-Range Dual Band Wireless AC1200 Outdoor Access Point/Client Bridge provides link rates up to 866 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band.

Both access points have internal 5 dBi omnidirectional antennas (3 transmit and 3 receive for the ENS1750, and 2 transmit and 2 receive for the ENS1200) and are housed in waterproof IP55-rated cases.

Other features include one gigabit Ethernet port, 802.3at PoE, SNMP monitoring, WDS bridging / repeating support, eight SSIDs per band with VLAN tagging and band steering.

The ENS1750 and ENS1200 list for $499.99 and $399.99 respectively and are shipping now.

EnGenius also announced a pair of outdoor surveillance products. The EDS8015 includes an EnStation5 Long-Range Wireless 5 GHz Outdoor AP/Bridge and EDS5110 IP Surveillance Camera. The EDS8012 has an EnStation2 Long-Range Wireless 2.4 GHz Outdoor AP/Bridge and EDS5100 IP Surveillance Camera.

The EnStation5 and EnStation2 outdoor access points have 26 dBm output power, high receive sensitivity and internal narrow beam high-gain directional antennas for up to 5 mile clear line-of-sight, point-to-point deployments. The EnStations also support 5 and 10 MHz narrow bandwidth modes for more stable connections over long distances and have three-axis mounting brackets for flexible installation.

Both kits come with free video management software supporting live view, record and playback of up to 16 channels and Windows utility for camera configuration, firmware update and management.

The EDS5110 1-MP Day/Night IoT Bullet IP Surveillance Camera is a 720p HD, 802.3.af PoE powered IP camera supporting two simultaneous HD streams using H.264, MPEG-4 and Motion JPEG codecs. Other features include IR-cut filter, 32 foot IR range, digital pan / zoom and still / video clip storage to local micro SD card or network store.

Both the ENS8015 and ENS8012 list for $299 and are available now.
