CloudPointe Announces Document Share, Embed Service

CloudPointe has announced the release of its cloud based document sharing service.

The service provides tools to embed document sharing and collaboration inside any website or web application, including developer integration using the underlying API.

CloudPointe offers a storage compatibility layer, allowing for collaboration of documents and files directly from business’ existing storage systems, whether on FTP, SFTP, Amazon S3, Google Docs or Microsoft SharePoint. CloudPointe SAAS is an extension of the company’s enterprise document management platform. Documents can also be stored on in CloudPointe’s cloud.

Initial services offered are a Basic account supporting file sharing from two FTP sites and embedding the documents into a website or web application. A Developer account is also available for $5/month that supports FTP and secure FTP.
