NETGEAR has released router control apps for Android and iOS.

NETGEAR Genie is a remote control app that provides access to Wireless Settings, Network Map, Live Parental Controls, Guest Access and Traffic Metering on many WNR and WNDR series NETGEAR routers.

The app provides the ability to find photos, video and music files on networked DLNA devices and play them on the phone or tablet running the Genie app. The app also has a DLNA server to turn the phone or tablet into a DLNA media controller, player, and server.
