The 8-Port 10/100/1000 Gigabit Smart Switch with PD and AC Power (SLM2008) and 5-Port 10/100/1000 Gigabit Smart Switch with PD and AC Power (SLM2005) feature IGMP snooping, broadcast storm control, many-to-one port mirroring, link aggregation and 802.1p and DSCP traffic prioritization.

A Powered Device (PD) feature allows the switches to obtain power from a standard 802.3af PoE switch or an external AC power outlet. Estimated street prices are $95.99 and $115.99 respectively for the 5 and 8 port models with immediate availability.

The Linksys One Wireless-G Services Router (SVR200) is a Services Router with integrated ADSL2/2+ and 10/100 Ethernet WAN options. It is aimed at providing the network infrastructure solution for remote SOHO teleworkers or small offices with the combination of an 802.11g access point, FXS/FXO analog voice ports, integrated broadband access interfaces, Power over Ethernet, and a SPI Firewall with hardware-accelerated VPN services.

The Linksys One Services Router (SVR3500) has dual T1/E1 and single 10/100 Ethernet WAN ports and integrated 24-Port PoE Switch. Integrated services include SPI Firewall, SIP Proxy, QoS, VLAN, SIP ALG and accelerated VPN.

Both SVRs provide auto-discovery and auto-configuration of Linksys One devices, including IP phones and analog voice gateways.

Linksys also announced that it has aligned its Partner Connection program with Cisco’s worldwide partner program. The main goal appears to be the formation of a tighter bond between the two programs to improve sales opportunities. This will be done by "leveraging integrated distribution capabilities" and linking the Cisco Certified Partners and Linksys Business Elite Partners programs.

Also helping to achieve the desired synergy between Linksys and Cisco small business offerings is the Cisco Service Node for Linksys One that was also introduced today. The Node includes a server, Cisco Catalyst 4948 switches and an optional Cisco 7301 router for call routing and network traffic encryption functions.
