Amped Wireless CES 2016 Announcements – Part 2

CES 2016 logoAmped Wireless launched an inexpensive MU-MIMO AC1300 class product line and wall-plugged extender at CES 2016 today.

The ARTEMIS Router, Range Extender and Access Point are all based on an AC1300 class, MU-MIMO enabled chassis supporting maximum 3×3 link rates of 450 Mbps in 2.4 GHz and 2×2 link rates of 867 Mbps in 5 GHz. These are the first 2×2 MU-MIMO enabled router / APs available.

All three ARTEMIS devices have 5 Gigabit ports and a USB 3.0 port for file sharing. Amped says three simultaneous MU-MIMO devices are supported.

The ARTEMIS, ARTEMIS-EX and ARTEMIS-AP all list for $129.99 and will be available in April.

The REC22P Wi-Fi Range Extender is an AC1200 class wall-plugged format wireless range extender with pass-through AC outlet and front-panel USB power port. Other features include "BoostBand" Technology to select the best connection back to the base router and signal strength LED for easy setup.

The REC22P lists for $99.99 and will be available for order in late February.
