Postini Email Security blocks spam, viruses, phishing, and email threats before they reach a company’s email gateway, and provides message management and policy enforcement.

Later this year, Iomega plans to launch additional Postini services in the U.S. and select European markets. The additional services will include solutions for archiving messages, encrypting emails and securing and managing instant messaging.

The Postini offering joins Iomega’s other OfficeScreen managed network services, which include Juniper Networks’ Firewall, IPSec site-to-site VPN, and SSL (secure socket layer) VPN solutions with VeriSign, Inc.’s two-factor authentication.

Pricing varies, with a 60 user installation costing approximately $35/per user/per year.
