MicroNet Technology recently introduced the PlatinumNAS Plus with an integrated iTunes music server.
The new NAS is based on an Intel IOP RISC network processor platform with four hot-swappable SATA drives, dual gigabit Ethernet LAN, support for RAID 0, 1, 5 and JBOD modes and SMB/CIFS and WebDisk network services.
Other features include Active Directory and UPnP support, FTP and USB print servers, integrated file download manager supporting BitTorrent, FTP and HTTP and NSYNC support.
The PlatinumNAS Plus line is available immediately with suggested list prices from $799 for a 1 TB configuration to $2999 for the 4 TB model.
