About This Class

AC Routers are the current choice for most buyers. Dual band routers (AC1200, AC1900, AC2600) will serve most buyers well. "Tri-band"/tri-radio products (AC2200, AC3200, AC5300/5400) have a second 5 GHz radio that can help if you have a lot of devices that are streaming video. They help improve capacity, not range.

Features you shouldn't pay extra for are MU-MIMO and 160 MHz bandwidth, because most devices don't support them.
