NETGEAR Goes Round The Clock for Biz Product Support

FCC logo NETGEAR now offers lifetime 24/7 support for its business networking products.

Under the new policy, the following NETGEAR ProSAFE business product lines now offer 24×7 Lifetime Technical Support and Lifetime Next Business Day Shipping, an increase from the previous three-year coverage. This new coverage aligns with the existing Lifetime Hardware Warranty:

  • ProSAFE Unmanaged to Fully Managed Switches
  • ProSAFE Wireless Controllers and Access Points
  • ProSAFE Firewalls

For its NAS lines, the company is also adding 5-Year Next Business Day Shipping coverage that aligns with the existing 5-Year Limited Hardware Warranty in addition to the new 24×7 Lifetime Technical Support. The new coverage applies to

  • Business-class ReadyNAS Desktop (RN300/500/700)
  • ReadyNAS Rackmount
  • Business-class ReadyNAS drives
  • ReadyDATA and ReadyDATA Drives

Note that Lifetime Technical Support is provided via free phone support for first 90 days and via free online chat thereafter.

The new NETGEAR warranty policy is in effect for the named products purchased on or after June 1, 2014.
