CES 2012: ZyXEL Announces HD IP Cam Duo

ZyXEL enters the IP camera market with two models.

The IPC3605N and IPC4605N "CloudEnabled" web cameras support up to 720p/H.264 HD video and audio monitoring. Both models connect via 802.11n Wi-Fi and have infrared illuminators for "night" vision up to 15 feet. The IPC4605N supports 340 degree motorized pan and 100 degree tilt.

Apple iOS and Android apps will be available to access camera video and controls locally or via the Internet.

The IPC3605N and IPC4605N will be available in February 2012 from all major e-commerce sites and ZyXEL partners. The IPC3605N will have a street price of $99, while the IPC4605N, with additional Pan-Tilt-Zoom feature, will carry a street price of $185.
