Plustek announces VIA-based SOHO/SMB Server

The MultiServer MFA1000S uses a VIA Luke CoreFusion 1000 MHz CPU, 512 MB of DDR400 RAM (expandable to 1 GB) and runs a Linux 2.6 based OS. Standard storage is a 256 MB DOM and a 3.5" SATA or IDE drive can be added. Port complement includes one 10/100 Ethernet WAN, one 10/100 Ethernet LAN, one parallel and four USB 2.0.

The MultiServer provides mail services (SMTP, POP3, secure POP3, IMAP and secure IMAP) including filtering and anti-virus (ClamAV), as well as HTTP, FTP, MySQL, VPN, DNS, Print, SAMBA and SIP services. Up and download bandwidth can also be managed on an application basis.
