EnGenius, ZyXEL and QNAP all announced new products last week.
• EnGenius announced its Personal Cloud Solutions product line providing fee-free secure remote access to home-based files, media and IP cameras. Products include the EBK1000 IP camera (EDS1130) / AC1750 class router (EPG5000) kit, EPG500 N600 class VoIP-enabled router and three N routers (ESR600, ESR350, ESR300).
• ZyXEL announced its WRE6506 AC750 class wireless extender and ZyXEL One Network (ZON) network device setup and maintenance application.
• QNAP rolled out yet another new NAS line. The one (TS-131), two (TS-231) and four-bay TS-431 NASes are all powered by a Freescale dual-core 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A9 CPU with 512 MB of DDR3 RAM.
