ViewSonic adds networked LCD display

The display includes a "fully featured" Mozilla Web browser and high-definition video processing capabilities, supporting up to 20 MBytes/sec streaming video and HTML. The ND4210w allows users to view HTML Web pages along with streamed MPEG 1/2/4 video signals without needing a separate PC to process the video.

Other features include an internal 40GB hard drive to support local playback of digital media content, and support for HTML authoring tools.

The ND4210w display has an estimated street price of $2,999 and will be available starting Jan. 1, 2007.
