Zyxel has announced a new smart switch product family that includes two fast Ethernet switches for small and medium sized businesses (SMBs).

The ES-1528 offers 28 10/100 ports with features including web administration, 802.1Q VLAN and 802.1p traffic priority support and static port aggregation. Other features include smart ACL (Access Control List), Auto Denial of Service (DoS) Attack Prevention and Auto VoIP QoS optimization.

The ES-1552 offers the same features and functionality of the ES-1528, but has 52 ports.

The ES-1528 is currently available at an MSRP of $289.99. The ES-1552 will start shipping in July 2007. Pricing was not announced.
