WD has announced a new single-drive NAS that claims 100 MegaBytes/sec transfer speed.
The WD My Book Live contains a DLNA media server for streaming support to DLNA devices including Xbox 360 and PS3.
Also included are an iTunes server and WD Photos app supporting iOS devices. Network connection is via a single 10/100/1000 Ethernet port.
The My Book Live has a 3-year limited warranty and is available now for $169.99 for 1 TB and $229.99 for 2 TB (MSRP).
