A backup program then automatically launches that guides the user in backing up computer contents into the unused space of the iPhone / iPod.

Music files from the Apple devices can also be copied onto the connected computer.

The Transformer for iPhone/iPod is available now for $49.99 MSRP. The Transformer SE, available next month for $89.99 MSRP, has the same feature set and adds the ability to use any USB storage device for backup in addition to an iPhone / iPod.
