TRENDnet Adds Compact HD Outdoor IP Cam

TRENDnet has announced a compact outdoor "bullet" IP camera.

The TV-IP302PI Outdoor Megapixel PoE Day / Night Internet Camera supports up to 720p HD resolution and night vision rated for 15m / 50 ft. It is housed in an IP66 rated aluminum enclosure only 4 inches long and includes a sun visor.

Network connection is via a 10/100 Ethernet port that can also be used to power the camera via an unspecified Power over Ethernet feature.

Other features include I/O ports, audio in/out ports, analog video out, motion detection windows, email alerts and SAMBA client support.

The TV-IP302PI is shipping now at a $329.99 MSRP.

D-Link adds $100 network camera

D-Link yesterday announced two low-cost wired and wireless network cameras that will retail for around $100.

The D-Link DCS-920 Wireless G Network Camera and DCS-910 10/100 Fast Ethernet Internet Camera can be accessed and controlled using any Java-enabled browser and take snapshots and record directly from the Web browser to a local hard drive.
