D-Link Releases Pretty Inexpensive Pan / Tilt Network Cam

D-Link logoD-Link has announced a $100 motorized pan / tilt network camera.

The DCS-5010L Pan & Tilt Day/Night Network Camera has maximum resolution of 640 x 480 at 30 fps and night vision rated for 8m / 26 ft.

Network connection is via 10/100 Ethernet or built-in 802.11b/g/n wireless with easy secure setup via Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS).

The camera has motorized 340° pan and 120° tilt ranges. Zoom is 4x digital. There are no audio features.

The DCS-5010L is compatible with D-Link’s mydlink cloud-based portal with iOS and Android apps that provide remote monitoring, camera pan/tilt control and video quality control. A built-in web-based interface provides access to all camera functions, including motion detection with e-mail alerts.

The DCS-5010L is shipping now at $99.99 MSRP.
