EnGenius logoEnGenius has announced two indoor AC1200 class access points.

The new EAP1200H Dual Band AC1200 Indoor Access Point and ECB1200 802.11ac 2x2 Dual Band High-Powered Wireless Access Point/Client Bridge support maximum link rates of 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and up to 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band when used with 2x2 AC class devices.

The EAP1200H is housed in a low profile smoke detector form factor and the ECB1200 comes in a desktop format with four detachable 5 dBi high-gain antennas. Both have a Gigabit Ethernet port that supports 802.3at PoE, support band-steering and can be managed via EnGenius' free EZ Controller Software for Windows, MacOS and Linux.

Other features include Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) and 802.1X RADIUS support, MAC address filtering and secure guest networks. The ECB1200 also functions as a wireless client bridge.
