Ubiquiti logoUbiquiti has expanded its line of 802.11ac access points with four new models.

Ubiquiti's UniFi AC family includes four new access points and a redesigned UniFi Controller. The new APs include the AC1200 class UAP-AC-LITE with an $89 MSRP.

The other three models are AC1750 class and include the $109 UAP-AC-LR , $149 UAP-AC-PRO and $399 UAP-AC-EDU. The -EDU has an integrated speaker and amplifier to support audio broadcasts using the iOS or Android UniFi Broadcast app.

The UAP-AC and UAP-AC-Outdoor remain from Ubiquiti's original AC access point offerings.

The new UniFi Controller optimizes RF performance with several new features including dual-band spectral analysis, 5 GHz band steering and airtime fairness. APs can also be deployed via Android or iOS app.
