Pogoplug now supports multi-user features.
According to an email sent to Pogoplug customers, Pogoplug Team is a service upgrade that turns any office computer, server or Pogoplug device into private, multi-user cloud storage.
File access is via a web interface that can be customized with your company logo and colors. Features include folder level permissions, client upload and sharing via emailed link.
The Team server must be hosted on a Windows or MacOS machine. But storage hosted on Pogoplug devices can be added to the Team storage pool.
Pogoplug doesn’t seem to be looking to drum up business for its cloud storage option, since Team users have to share the same 5 GB of free "offsite" storage that other Pogoplug users get.
Pogoplug Team costs $45 to start for one year of service for a three-user minimum. Additional users are $15/user/year.
