NETGEAR today announced the SRXN3205 ProSafe Wireless-N VPN Firewall, a dual-band draft 802.11n router with IPsec and SSL VPN features.

The SRXN3205 is basically a draft 802.11n version of NETGEAR's FVS336G Dual WAN Gigabit SSL VPN Firewall and supports five Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and five IP Security (IPsec) VPN tunnels.

Other routing features include a four port gigabit Ethernet switch, gigabit Ethernet WAN port, NAT+SPI firewall, URL keyword filtering, SYSLOG support, and e-mail reporting.

The single radio can be switched to cover either the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz radio bands and supports WEP, WPA, WPA2, and 802.1x with RADIUS wireless security.

The SRXN3205 will be available shortly at an MSRP of $485.
