CES 2012: EnGenius Launches Long-Range N Router Line

EnGenius has announced a line of extended-range 802.11n routers.

The new XtraRange family includes one single band and two simultaneous dual-band models.

The ESR300H High-Power 300Mbps Wireless N Router is 2.4GHz only with 10/100 ports, one WAN and four switched LAN.

The ESR600H High-Power Dual-Band Wireless-N Router with Gigabit and USB is simultaneous dual-band with Gigabit Ethernet ports, one WAN and four switched LAN and USB 2.0 port for drive and printer sharing.

The ESR750H High-Power Dual-Band Wireless-N Router with Gigabit, USB and shAir starts with the ESR600H’s features then adds three-stream N support in 5 GHz. In addition, the shAir feature lets Apple devices stream music to attached USB speakers.

All models share a feature set including four SSIDs for flexible guest network support, upgradable antennas and time-based Internet access control and URL/keyword filtering parental control. Other features include SPI firewall, WPA/WPA2 encryption, 802.1x authentication, WPS, L2TP and PPTP VPN tunneling, VPN pass-through and MAC address filtering.
