The NetVanta 3G Network Interface Module (NIM) is certified for use with Verizon Wireless BroadbandAccess Wireless Router service and provides Wireless Wide Area Network (WWAN) service using Verizons Evolution Data Optimized Rev. A (EV-DO) service. The module can be used as a primary connection or as a failover/backup alternative connection.
The NetVanta 3G NIM carries a list price of $795 while the NetVanta 3305 has a list price of $1,295. Both products are currently shipping.
