D-Link has announced a cable-modem, MoCA and draft 802.11ac combination gateway.
The D-Link DCM-7662DM DOCSIS 3.0 Gateway combines a draft 802.11ac wireless router, DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem and MoCA 2.0 connectivity into one neat package.
The new gateway supports TR-069 for easy centralized service provider management as well as via D-Link’s mydlink.com cloud portal. It has a 3×3 draft 11ac radio, four switched Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports and supports two NCS or SIP VoIP connections.
The DCM-7662DM Gateway will be available via direct purchase from D-Link later this year. D-Link is currently prospecting for business with service providers. Pricing was not announced.
