SugarSync has launched their redesigned Android app which features a new Autosync capability to more seamlessly sync your phone to your other computers.
One of my biggest gripes with Dropbox is that the Android App is 99% read-only. What’s the point of having a phone/device you can access files on (unlike iOS) when your app won’t actually synchronize files?
SugarSync’s newly redone Android app, with its Autosync feature, looks to remedy that complaint. Autosync will (automatically), take all your files and folders and periodically synchonrize them to your Android devices and other synced devices. Any new photos or videos on your device will be synced as well, making it a breeze to move them onto your computer.
Autosync is also smart enough to know when you aren’t connected to the network. It will store all changes and then synchronize them in when connected. This is going to become more of a reality as Wi-Fi only Android tablets become more popular.
