Should SmallNetBuilder add Forums?

It’s not a question of development time. There are plenty of excellent solutions that make setting up forums a snap. The holdup has more been a concern about return on investment (primarily my time). Would SmallNetBuilder forums attract enough of a critical mass of knowledgeable participants to make it actually useful?

The last thing I want to do is have yet another place where people with good intentions, but too little knowledge, provide advice to people who don’t know enough to filter out bad information. And I don’t really want to spend time answering the same questions over and over again from people who are too lazy use the knowledge bases and tutorials that already exist in abundance.

So what do you think? Should SmallNetBuilder add forums? And if we do, will you participate and help it to be a worthwhile place to hang out?
