IBM has announced a new cloud-based version of its Lotus Symphony office suite.

LotusLive Symphony will be a competitor to Google Docs and Microsoft’s OfficeLive. IBM’s arriving a little late to the game here, but by releasing their product for free will at least garner it some users in enterprises where Lotus is already in use.

You can read about LotusLive Symphony and try out the pre-release at the LotusLive website.
