Quickoffice has given its Microsoft productivity suite a Honeycomb (Android 3.0) makeover.

Specifically optimized for tablets running the latest and greatest version of Google’s mobile operating system, Quickoffice Pro HD for Honeycomb allows users to create, view and edit Microsoft Office files.

As expected, supported formats include Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations and PDFs (viewer only).

The app also offers multiple access options from various platforms, such as Google Docs, Dropbox, Box, Huddle, SugarSync, MobileMe and SD cards.

Quickoffice Pro HD for Honeycomb is currently available for an introductory price of $15 – instead of the usual $25.

While Quickoffice Pro HD certainly sounds amazing, it should be noted that the only Android tablet currently optimized to run Honeycomb is Motorola’s Xoom. So if you don’t have or want the Xoom, you may want to sit tight with your Quickoffice purchase until the next generation of Honeycomb tablets arrive.
