Amazon today announced more general storage space for its Cloud Drive service.

First it was Box.net, and now Amazon, responding to Apple’s launch of its iCloud service this week.

On Wednesday, Box unveiled an offer good until Dec 1 for 50 GB of storage for folks who download its new iOS app.

Now early today, Amazon sent out email to customers announcing the "limited time" addition of 20 GB of storage space for any files in addition to the $20-a-year-for-unlimited-space-for-eligible-music-files deal it has been offering.

There is no mention on Amazon’s page of what "limited time" means.
