First Certifications announced for Wireless USB Products

Iogear’s product is based on Alereon’s PHY Chipset and Intel’s Wireless UWB Link controller, both of which completed compliance and certification testing from the USB-IF and are designated Certified Wireless USB building block solutions.

D-Link will also offer a kit (DUB-9240) that includes both the wireless USB adapter and 4-port wireless USB hub.

The DUB-9240 Wireless USB Kit, DUB-2240 4-port Wireless USB hub, and DUB-1210 Wireless USB adapter are expected to ship in Q4. MSRP’s are $219.99 for the DUB-9240 and $119.99 each for the DUB-2240 Wireless hub and DUB-1210 wireless adapter.

Iogear did not announce pricing or availability.
