ASUSTOR logoUpdated - ASUSTOR has unveiled four new NASes based on Intel Braswell family Celeron processors.

The AS6202T dual-bay and AS6204T quad-bay are powered by 1.6 GHz Intel Celeron N3150 quad-core processors with 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, expandable to 8 GB total. ASUSTOR specs the AS62 series models capable of ~220 MB/s RAID 1 write and read throughput using multiple clients and link aggregation.

The lower-priced AS6102T dual-bay and AS6104T quad-bay are powered by 1.6 GHz Intel Celeron N3050 dual-core processors with 2 GB of DDR3 RAM, expandable to 8 GB total. ASUSTOR specs the AS61 series models capable of 220 MB/s RAID 1 read and 188 MB/s write throughput using multiple clients and link aggregation.

Port complement of all four NASes includes dual aggregateable Gigabit Ethernet, three USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, two eSATA, one HDMI 1.4b and one S/PDIF. An IR receiver supporting media center remote control is also included.

The company said the new models all support 4K and 2K ultra high definition multimedia playback and include AES-NI hardware encryption to improve performance when using secure volumes.

Like other ASUSTOR NASes, the new 61 and 62 series models run ASUSTOR's ADM 2.5 NAS OS with features including SMB 2.0 support, MyArchive storage technology that allows users to use hard disks as removable storage archives, and installable apps to add antivirus and Dropbox, Google Drive and HiDrive cloud storage access, among other features.

All models come with three-year limited warranties and will be available shortly. MSRPs are
